A committed player, Domaine d'Anbalaba is working for the economic and social development of the Bay of Cape Town through its foundation, and is working to conserve endemic tropical nature and preserve the region's ecosystem. The Anbalaba Social Community (ASC) foundation was officially launched at the beginning of December. Its main objectives are to create links between all the stakeholders, to improve the habitat and the social and cultural environment, and to promote local talent.
Together, they are building a living space centered around exchange and sharing, in an environment that combines urban and natural elements. Discover all the actions taken during 2023.
In 2023, the Anbalaba Social Community Foundation has set up a programme of social, preventive, cultural and recreational activities. These activities focus on personal development, family empowerment and community development.
THE CHILDREN'S AND YOUNG ADULTS' WORKSHOP
Every Tuesday and Thursday, children from the villages of Baie du Cap and the surrounding area take part in workshops. It's after school hours that the pupils have been able to take part in different sessions to learn how to work as a team, hone numerous social skills, and develop confidence in themselves and others. Here, last November, Stéphane Peyron, famous yachtsman and owner of Domaine d'Anbalaba, gave a talk. It was followed by a discussion session about his epic voyage to the North Pole on a windsurfer!
Creating a vibrant community through the work of ANBALABA SOCIAL COMMUNITY
MAKONDE ASSOCIATION
Since 2021, Anbalaba and its foundation have been very proud to work with the NGO DRIP in its work for the development of the village and the quality of life of its inhabitants.
Our joint action has led to the creation of a community platform within the village, which has become the Makonde Association, registered by the Registrar of Associations, to ensure its long-term development.
