PRESTIGIOUS LIFESTYLE WITH A MAURITIAN HUE
Let’s head to the south of Mauritius, more precisely to Baie du Cap, where a new project for luxury estates and an integrated village is taking shape – that of Anbalaba.
“En bas là-bas”, life seems to sway to the rhythm of this song, written by the Mauritian sega writer, Claudio Veeraragoo. This song, covered by Maxime Leforestier, mentions the turquoise lagoon, the canoes anchored in the middle of the sea, the fishermen bringing their catch back to the village… And who would be better than the local painter, Vaco, to recreate this image? Equipped with his palette of sparkling colours, he has given Anbalaba its resolutely Mauritian identity.
Located at the heart of Baie du Cap, Anbalaba sprawls on the high grounds, offering an exceptional view of the lagoon. The old police station, which is part of the region’s heritage, has been renovated and marks the entrance of the new residential area. From here on, the main avenue lined with palm trees leads to the square of the village, with its market, mini-market, Pool & Spa Club and other businesses and leisure centres, open to residents as well as non-residents.
