After the resounding success of the two previous editions, the Collective Porlwi returns for the 3rd consecutive year with its colorful cultural festival, with sound and light showing the power of the Mauritian cultural dynamism.
New this year: instead of a weekend only, the festival spread over five days, from November 29 to December 3, 2017.
Porlwi By Nature 2017
After celebrating the man and the city in its second edition, the Porlwi festival was this year theme of nature. Porlwi by Nature has marked a new stage in this great Mauritian event which, from year to year, welcomes more and more people. The choice of this theme was intended to emphasize urban regeneration and cultural reconnection with the land. Artists have been inspired to take inspiration from nature through green walks, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, guided tours, artistic islands in the heart of the city, and through special programming for children under 12 years old. As for previous editions, the 2017 edition also included lighting installations, music, artistic performances, exhibitions, and the promotion of Mauritian cuisine. A myriad of activities and discoveries open to all for 5 days, so that everyone can enjoy.
